The company was established in 1980, but has grown from 1990 thanks to a new guide who reset the activity researching continuous improvement, putting the attention to the client and his needs as well as to the territory and environment. A progressively increasing productivity, allows the structure to develop a certified quality system, entirely realized from and with internal resources. Since 2001, the proceedings shall be gradually implemented with a Environment, Safety and Ethics Management System. This certificates represent only the formalization and external verification of business practices already in use.

The main stages of Minerva’s journey:
2001: Quality Certification according to UNI ISO 9001-2000, EA 35. In reaching this result, the company staff has developed an internal plan that would stick to the operational realities of the Company and the norm.
2004: Development of hospital sanitation sector with the introduction of additional services.
2005: Certification of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Ethics and Safety. The system is considered a strategic business tool, driver of continuous improvement and innovation.
2008: EFQM Members. After the certification, the journey to excellence continues in the development and consolidation of the PDCA cycle within all business processes to improve performance. Minerva now uses, among other instruments, the Radar matrix for evaluation of all aspects of the Organization. Minerva is the 18th Italian Company join the EFQM.

2009: The President, Adriano Ruchini becomes EFQM European Excellence Assessor.
2009: The company decides to apply the expressed principles in concrete, adding products to services, and diversifies its business by establishing a company in the field of carpentry and shipbuilding.
Minerva currently operates in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, employing over 400 people. The most developed area is the hospital sanitation.
